The Jolly Post began with one simple idea:

Our founder grew up with the Scandinavian tradition of the daily Christmas countdown, where a playful “nisse” (Christmas elf) leaves behind little notes, tricks, or surprises each morning in December. It’s a long-loved Nordic custom that fills homes with joy and laughter as families count down to Christmas Eve together.
Inspired by this beautiful tradition, The Jolly Post was created to share that same sense of warmth, wonder, and anticipation — with families all over the world.
